In 1982, the temple was handed over to Venerable Thích Vĩnh Khương, and since then, it has been under the management of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha. In 1984, Ngọc Hoàng Temple was officially renamed Phước Hải Tự, but the locals still refer to it as Ngọc Hoàng Pagoda because the main hall is dedicated to the Jade Emperor according to Chinese beliefs.

- Central Hall: This is the largest space, comprising the front hall, middle hall, and main hall. In the front hall, there are altars for the Earth God on the left and the Door God on the right. The middle hall houses the statue of the Medicine Buddha, with the Azure Dragon General and the White Tiger General on either side. The main hall is where the Jade Emperor is enshrined, surrounded by celestial generals. To the left is the Northern Dipper Deity, and to the right is the Buddha Sakyamuni.

- Left Hall: This hall contains three altars. The first altar worships Song Án, the Horse Marshal, Thành Hoàng Lỗ Ban, and Thái Tuế. Behind Ngọc Hoàng Pagoda, there used to be a stone shrine of the Khmer people. When Ngọc Hoàng Pagoda was built, this shrine was renovated and became the shrine of Ông Đá, as it is known today. Inside the shrine, there is a rectangular stone taken from Thái Sơn Mountain in China. In front of the shrine, there is an incense burner. On the left side is a white tiger statue, and on the right is a blue dragon statue.
