City Hall

At the end of Nguyen Hue Street sits the magnificent office of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee. Completed in 1908, the design of the former Hotel de Ville is based on the original in Paris. It is one of the most stunning monuments in the city, especially when lit at night. The interior is not open to the public. However, the outside still makes for some very memorable photo-ops.

Location: Le Thanh Ton and Nguyen Hue, D1
Local insight: The best view of the building is from the Rex Hotel roof terrace.
